The new SLRDA HQ is taking shape!

A new edition to the HQ is the SLRDA Merchandise Store where you can buy roller derby related goods and help contribute to the HUD donation fund to help update our orignal HUD.

Last week we posted skates available from Musie’s store, V&M. You can now find these in the SLRDA Merch Store too. You can also pick up these roller boots by derby girl, Sedated Constantie. The fun of skates and big gothic platform boots, all in one piece of footwear. :D Thank you Seddy. :3 If you’re interested in Seddy’s other wares including the boots in other colours and without roller wheels, you can check out her store on the marketplace.

All proceeds will go directly to the SLRDA account to help raise money for our shiny new skate HUD. Currently they can only be found upstairs in Musie’s store, V&M, however they will be on the marketplace within a few days.

Welcome to the Second Life Roller Derby Association on Tumblr, a web space where we can share all the things we love about Second Life and roller derby! (Exclamation marks mean I am excited! :D)

If you’re not sure what SLRDA is, SLRDA is Second Life’s premier roller derby association: a replication of roller derby in the virtual world of Second Life. We aim to provide a fun and friendly community for fans or roller derby and resident in SL.

We are currently getting organised for the new season so things are a bit messy but over the next week or so we hope to have the HQ tidied up with applications and information available for sponsors, referees and players. Make sure to check back there and join the mailing list or in-world group to keep updated! I will be opening up the questions page when we get all the ironed out. x:

I’ve opened up submissions if you want to contribute anything SLRDA, roller derby or Second Life related that you think other SLRDA followers will find interesting or useful. Feel free to contribute your snapshots, tips, advice and memories!
